Who lives here

Every soul has a story

Our Residents come from all kinds of beginnings — some heartbreaking, some complicated, some that defy belief. What they all share is a life now defined by safety, care, and the freedom to simply be. Click any Resident to read their full story.

George, Frederick & Oliver

They were not rescued into an organization — they are the reason it exists. Rescued on the same day, their lives marked the moment care became commitment.

Tally

The first goat to call SoulSpace home. Despite living among 80+ others, Tally is convinced he is an only child — and carries himself accordingly.

Sylvia

Approaching her twenties. She doesn't oink — she squeaks. She prefers her salads brought to her and lets the world come to her now.

🐷Pig
Tinsel

Found in a bucket outside a vet clinic, days before Christmas Eve. Raised indoors with bunnies. Now perfectly at home in the barnyard.

Oliver

Volunteers stood in front of a moving truck to save his life. He navigates the world by scent — gentle, affectionate, and deeply loved.

Wilbur

Dumped at the end of our driveway in late 2024 — and lucky enough to run toward the sanctuary instead of toward the road.

Buddy

Bold, intense, and absolutely himself. He also jumped out the truck window on the way here. We're still waiting for him to calm down. Five years later.

🐐Goat
Lucy

Spent nearly a month living freely in a hundred wooded acres before deciding SoulSpace was home. A true parkour goat — no fence holds her for long.

He arrived traumatized, orphaned, and terrified. Then he found his footing, made friends, and slowly stopped fainting altogether.

Harold, Harriet & Lenore

A mother, her son, and her sister — inseparable from the day they arrived. Trust was earned slowly, over years. As it should be.

Stella

People come just to sit with her. She offers connection without expectation and teaches, simply by being herself, what it means to see an animal as someone.

Of all the babies Dory was forced to have, Stellar is the first she has been allowed to keep for life. Their bond is indescribable and precious beyond words.

Residents We Carry With Us

Some Residents don't stay long. But every life matters here — fully, completely, and without condition. Their stories remain part of ours.

"Brave. Loved. Mattered."

A premature calf who arrived at SoulSpace full of spirit. When her diagnosis left no path forward, she passed peacefully, surrounded by love — knowing she was seen.

Come meet them in person.

Our Residents are here every Sunday, ready to meet you. Tours run 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM, by appointment only.
